The Fund and the Camp

The Herb Cohen Memorial Fund is the result of the positive, life-changing experiences that generations of campers have enjoyed at Camp Saginaw since 1927.

Located in the heart of beautiful Chester County, Pennsylvania, Camp Saginaw remains one of the premier, family-owned summer camps in the nation, attracting campers from all over the world. Each summer, 400 boys and girls ages six-to-16 converge on the camp. There, they form friendships, cultivate their interests and talents, strengthen their bodies, minds and spirits, and most of all, have some good old-fashioned fun! The scenic natural surroundings and the meticulously-maintained facilities help create a positive, healthy environment in which children can
grow and thrive.

Recent generations of Saginaw campers never met “Herbie” Cohen, or had the good fortune to come under his positive influence. However, his presence is still felt at the Camp in the quality of care, the warm-heartedness, and the generosity of spirit given to the young people.

You can help give young people this precious experience, and Change Someone’s Life – Forever, For the Better by donating to the Herb Cohen Memorial Fund.

Camp Saginaw has had a lasting, positive impact on generations of campers, counselors and parents.
